A successful festival week at Time of Music
Time of Music-festival was held during the 4th-9th of July. The event presented high quality performances and versatile concert experiences. This year’s theme was “break”, in other words: what happened in contemporary music after the collapse of communism and the Soviet Union. The festival lasted six days and had altogether 4000 visitors. A high level program brought lots of people especially to the contemporary music concerts. In addition to them the Finnish a cappella group Club for Five and the final concert with Värttinä and Joensuu City Orchestra were a great success.
